Planmeca ProModel™ offers virtual surgical planning, patient specific implants, surgical guides and CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) based anatomical models for demanding surgical procedures and treatment planning.
The 3D technology offered by the service reduces operation times and improves the accuracy of surgical procedures compared to conventional methods – resulting in safer procedures, shorter recovery times and better aesthetic results.

The first facial tissue transplant procedure in the history of the Nordic countries was performed earlier this year in the Hospital District of Helsinki and Uusimaa (HUS) in Finland. Planmeca contributed to the demanding and rare operation, which was the 35th of its kind in the world to date.
